I enjoy reading your newsletter each week, but this week really hit a nerve.  Quite a few years ago, I joined a &quot;mystery quilt&quot; and purchased quite bright reds and greens--beautiful roses!  However, I&#039;m not so great at following the light, medium, dark rules sight unseen so when I started the last week assembly I found that there is not enough contrast, gave up, and have never touched it again.

Oh for a sample block first!!!
